I have tried a few different products over the years to fuel my runs but since landing on PF&H, I haven’t changed. The gels are easy on the stomach, easy to consume/digest and don’t taste awful! I have heart rhythm issues if not properly hydrated, but I've found PH500 deals with this issue for me, and its not too sweet, not artificial and has a mild pleasant taste.

Worth trying
Online assessment tool was interesting - starter pack with items gave a little overview of what's available. Not sure that I agree with the PH1500 that was advised with the assessment - tried it and it was too strong for my tastes. I'm not likely to do a proper sweat test, so I that might be a factor. PH product flavors are lightly citrus - quite palatable. PF gels are quite neutral in flavor and an okay texture; very easy to open and consume. I really like the portions (30g carbs, and sodium in increments of 500) - that makes it easy to follow my coach's recommendations.
Nice product to use
Nice products to use no unpleasant aftertaste I’ve been going to cardio rehab after my triple bypass surgery and sweating a lot as it’s been hard work and these hydration products have been easy to use and have kept me hydrated throughout my rehab workouts I’m looking forward to using them when I start cycling again
Great Product - Great Company
Since beginning my foray into ultramarathoning, I have been searching for a solution that isn’t completely bland, over flavoured or thick. I was recommended your products by a friend after trying a few other brands and have found a product that works for me. The fueling plan, hydration and carb products have been easy on the stomach to keep using them on the move. It’s a long story but I’m training for an ultramarathon to raise money for a charity in my son’s name. The Precision products have got me through training, trail half marathon and undoubtedly in the ultra coming up. Although only one component to a successful race, it’s nice to know it works and your company has real positive vibes. Something I’m proud to use and recommend to my friends.

I'm training for a 29029 event and was introduced to Precision Fuel and Hydration. I'm using the 500 for hydration and the 30g Carb Chews and have been extremely happy with the results in my performance. Recently used both on a Mammoth March 20 mile hike. I highly recommend these products.
Improved Performance
The electrolyte 500 works very well to rehydrate lost body salts, giving me more energy. The Gel 30 also improved my energy levels quickly, after a drop off in performance. The Gel is a tad too sweet for me, but that wouldn't stop me taking it. Compared to the competition.....Boots et al and the flavours are very natural and the products are competitive in price. The sales staff are responsive, obliging and very knowledgeable, not pushy either! Thankyou.

My go-to gels
Love the gels. I tried many brands but this one is very easy to take and love the fact that the taste is so neutral. What I think makes a big difference is the way you open them. When you tear the gels, you don't end up with two pieces because the upper part is connected to the main one. It is easier to dispose of them this way. They are now my go-to gels for any race.

Amazing products. The name says it all, you can choose the products that are specific to your needs. The chews and gels replenish carb in just the right increments for long events. The tablets replace electrolytes to keep you going.
Go-to product
Love the products. Doesn’t burn my taste buds after using both gels, electrolytes, and chews. For me the taste gets more neutral as the day’s training goes on … versus other brands the taste gets more extreme and harder to swallow. I’ve been using precision products for at least 2 years now and just topped up for training over the few months.

Great electrolyte drinks
Great products! Pleasant but mild taste and work well for me. I have some effervescent ones too but the sachets work well for bottles because they don't fizz and they still dissolve well with a good stir. I have the 1500 ahead of long runs and 1-2 bottles of 500 with me when I'm out, which I combine with the carb drink mix.

The nutrition labeling is not clear. To get 500 you need two packs. Two packs gives 34g of sugar. It seems you may finish the game/run but will you have any good teeth by then? Be clear on you labeling!

Excellent products, guidance and service. To clarify, I'm not an athlete of any kind. I'm an over 60 leisure cyclist with Type 2 diabetes. I use Precision Fuel & Hydration products because they work for me and are the best products I have found that allow me to cycle and balance my blood glucose levels. I also use them as the ingredients list does not read like the items in a lab experiment! I keep hydrated using the PH 500 electrolyte drink which also gives me enough carbs for most rides. If I feel a hypo coming on, I get 15g of carbs (the amount recommended for recovery) from a chew. Perfect!
Faster miles of smiles
I've used electrolytes and carbs in my drinks while cycling foe some time, but never thought of the benefit of proper hydration. I saw PH on social media and clicked through to enter my hydration, sweat and training schedule, I came out as a medium. I placed an order, and with the advice given, used it on my following rides. It's weird, but what a performance uplift this has given me, it's not like a magic serum, but I feel I have much more energy and I can keep going for longer and feel less tired and fatigued. I normally ride 30 to 60 miles, with the odd longer one, but lately I've done 2 rides over 100 miles, and felt I could keep on going, recently managing a full gas ride for 51 miles averaging 20mph, which is a first and fastest ever for me. I would say this is the best thing in my new arsenal to aid my performance on the bike (as I don't run or swim) and I would recommend for anyone to try it as you won't be dissapointed with the results.

Long run fuel made easy
Just started using the precision 90g for my long run fueling and I love the resealable cap, makes it so easy to carry without it going everywhere as well and removing the need to carry multiple of the 30g gels. I've also been using the ph 500 electrolyte mix post run and absolutely love the flavour and that it's not overpowering flavours either.

Love the products. The 500 drink mix is one of the best, doesn't leave my mouth feeling too salty. It has a really light taste. I love the caffeine gels. The only 100mg caffeine gels I can find in Canada and they are easy on the stomach. I love that my package comes with sla nice hand written note. A nice touch!!

Comparison of PH 500, 1000, 1500
I love that PH offers different electrolyte levels in their 500, 1000, and 1500 PH. This is incredibly helpful as in the winter 500 is perfect and in th summer when it gets to 100 degrees where I train , 1500 is my go to. If it’s in the Fall or spring and still warm I go for the 1000, it’s gone perfect fit.

I used this company after being advised in there products by my PT. I put in a big order so I could give them out to staff as well and we all highly rate the products. 1500 is a bit greasy/ salty borderline hard to put down but certainly feel the benefit of it during work!
Helped me hit my race day plan
I used a lot of flow gel and a couple of caffeine gels on the South Downs Way 50 ultra. Very easy products to use particularly with the flow bottles. Took all the stress out of hitting my nutrition and hydration targets, with no litter to dispose of during the race. The hydration sachets were similarly great to use whenever I refilled a flask at an aid station.

I am pleased with the ph500 sachets and tablets and now use them routinely in my training and racing. I also use the sodium tablets when I can only top up my bottles with water and I also carry them on the run. This is following a sweat test I had done. No sugar substitutes and natural ingredients
I was looking for gels which did not contain any substitutes for sugar, the PF 30 Gel is perfect as contains only natural ingredients. What I like about the electrolytes is that they have no added sugar.

Timesaver during competitions
I compete in Hyrox competitions and train 6 times a week. I am one of life’s sweaty people who soak the floor around them, I love the 1500 Electrolyte tablets. These have bee. Invaluable for staying hydrated in long events
I’ve used Precision Hydration products for a couple of years now, using their online guide for what to use (and how much) before, during, and after long bike rides (typically 8-12hrs). I typically ride in 2-3 events per year, preferably in warmer climates than the UK, and have found their products invaluable in avoiding the dreading wall / bonk that would inevitably hit with the amount of sweat lost during those long days in the saddle. They’re easy to take, whether powder, tabs or capsules, and also easy to carry to dump into water bottles at feed stations. I’ve used similar products from other companies, and these are way better. Highly recommended for those long, sweaty events..!

I like the approach of PH very much, because it gives me very clear values with which I can work as a runner. Something for every athlete
I’ve trained for 6 marathons and used some version of PH for the last 5 (I was not wise enough in the first one!). In my experience, I’ve found PH 500 & 1000 to be great tools to prepare for a race (typically used 1000 the night before & morning of). I’ve also used those mixes during sweaty runs. I’m someone that has a difficult time eating during a marathon or any running distances over two hours (GI distress). The PH gels are my holy grail. I’ve tried everything- but these are the best for me in terms of energy, taste, and digestion. I’m so excited to try the chews. The PH 30 drink mix would be great for someone that understands their hydration & fueling needs. For me, I need more fluid — so I use PH 30 sparingly (I don’t want to drink too many carbs). It’s neutral tasting. PH has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

I have NeuroCardiogenic Syncope so staying hydrated is vital for me, after a DNF due to dehydration I switched to these & haven’t looked back. Easy to drink, tasty hydration
I’ve only been using these (PH500 tabs & powder) for a few months so far but no negative factors at all to date - I find them so easy to drink with a mild, pleasant flavour and haven’t had any issues with cramping since I started using them. My go-to electrolyte of choice now before any other brands!
Cramping problem solved
I play a lot of badminton tournaments and had been cramping quite badly in the latter stages. Started using the hydration tablets which have really helped. Helped me during the events and also seemed to help recovery afterwards. I also tried the carb chews. Bit like Turkish delight- easy to digest I don’t like to eat much during a tournament and usually have liquid energy drinks. Really liked the fact I could easily take a set amount of carbs eg 15g 30 g or more

I train nearly all the time indoors ob the bike, it is warm and sweaty All.of the products really help to reduce the cramping feeling under the sessions and even after. The capsules are even easy to take with me when I ride outside in the summer.

PH Gels and Powders are THE best for racing and training
I tested with Sean O'Mahoney in 2019 prior to racing Sani2C mountain bike event. My sodium loss level is high (mid-1500's) which helped explain issues I've had with racing and long training days over the years. I have used the the tablets since then but since September have upped my game as PH upped their game. Gels and powder packs are amazing. I was finding the tablets didn't sit well after a long time in the saddle making taking in enough nutrients hard. The powder packs changed this and I'm very happy with this as it keeps me easily on track with my specific plan. The gels have been a total game changer. I couldn't stomach any gels and would try other options to stay carb-fuelled but often could not take anything in and would get quite bonky. The gels taste and texture are perfect. I did my first fondo in 2 years (Covid cancelled everything here in Canada until October) and stuck to a gel every 30 min and one 1500 PH bottle, one 500 PH bottle. No stops. 140km. Super energized through the finish and was top female, TT section winner and 2nd QOM (at age 52) and 6th overall. Then went on to IM70.3 Indian Wells after not racing in years and not running much at all since 2015 back injury. And while the day was hot and the run was not great, my fuelling was spot on strictly using the gels and powder mix (plus one bottle of carb30 on the bike). I needed more salt on the run (dropped my sodium somewhere). And would have liked a PH gel with caffeine option, which I am thinking is coming out. Place 2nd AG and headed now to 2022 Worlds in St. George, UT along with the ITU Olympic Distance Worlds in Abu Dhabi (deferred from 2020). Would like to see the powders also available in a canister or bag with scoop (like the Carb 30). I generally don't like carbs in the bottle but now use Carb 30 for a 75-90 min indoor high intensity cycling session (I coach) and as a supplement to the gels on race day. Finally keeping a nutrition plan simple and effective is easy. As a plant-based nutritionist I also recommend PH to my cycling/triathlete clients.
The Real Deal
The real deal Up until last week I had only ran 10km races and if I'm honest hadn't really taken my hydration as serious I should have. I had ran longer distances but not actually entered any races. Last week I ran a 27km trail race and have entered a number of longer distance races including ultras in 2022. I decided it was time to up my game and take my hydration seriously. I got in touch with PH and completed the online sweat test. Within minutes I had an email from a guy called greg and had a solid chat in terms of what I wanted to achieve and what my goals are. I was recommended a starter pack which I tried out on a longer run the week before my race and then put it to the real test on the Weeknd of my first longer distance race. I preloaded the night before with a ph1500 packet and then a ph500 packet 90 minutes before the race and one ph500 packet straight after the race to help with the rehydration. What a difference. I felt fresh and completely hydrated throughout the race and didn't suffer with any cramping or fatigue, which considering the conditions of the race was next level for me. Yes it's early days for me but I would 100% recommend the products and Precision Hydration. The service that I have received is outstanding.

Effective hydration without the chemical nasties
I am not an athlete by any stretch of the imagination, I'm an over 60 fat'ish lad at the back with diabetes. PH gives me exactly what I need, effective hydration without 'nasties' and sugar. My rides ( 3 to 4 Hours) are now much better hydrated and my blood sugar is better controlled. Great for cycling in hot places such as Languedoc and Provence. Thank you PH.

Cramping Gone
I’ve always had problems cramping late in races, but since I’ve started with some pre-loading and race day hydration with Precision I’ve been all good.
New to PH
I have only been using PH for a short while, but I found the customer service and sweat test really helpful to find the right products for me. I like the taste and so far they are helping to keep me adequately hydrated. I also love the sustainable packaging and appreciate the hand written notes on the paperwork. 😊

I’ve always struggled with maintaining proper hydration. I’d end up with leg cramps and bad headaches as a result. I started looking at electrolyte supplements but many contained artificial sweetener that triggered my migraines. I’m on my second box of precision hydration and so far I’m really liking it! I start my morning off drinking half of a packet and it seems to really help me maintain regular hydration throughout the day. Once it warms up outside and I start running again, I’ll move up to a full packet a day. The taste isn’t offensive. I don’t tend to like citrus flavors, but this one is mild enough that I don’t mind it at all. Really happy with my purchases so far! Shipping has been lighting fast, which is a rarity these days.
Helped switch my focus from nutrition to hydration
Doing shorter running and cycling events, and always vaguely aware of being a sweatier-than-average-athlete, the online questionnaire + Andy Blow on a Trainerroad podcast + product has made a difference to both my training (particularly hot and sweaty turbo trainer sessions) and races. Early days, but better pre-hydration seems to make more of a difference to me than post-nutrition. Good website and reliable deliveries and follow-up emails, too.
Ironman Game Changer!
3 years ago I had the opportunity to have a sweat test done with Pro Ironman Brooke Brown in my home town, Windsor Ontario. The sweat test solidified my racing needs, and I began using PH 500 to support my long rides and intensity workouts with amazing success! I was able to mentally focus and perform and recover faster due to the electrolytes tailored to my needs! A podium finish in IM Arizona 2018 was assisted with the right hydration! Keeping my hydration delegate from my glucose allows me to tailor my needs around race day without abdominal discomfort o which is so frequently felt when consuming the wrong ratios. My power output is stronger and more consistent with PH. Hydration matters and each person is different, I do not require a high sodium electrolyte replacement and it was difficult to know what my body needed, the sweat test clarified my needs and then I began training harder and faster with the proper hydration ratios! Thanks guys for making this product! You have totally changed my race!
Game changer for me.
I approach all these things with a healthy level of skepticism but buy does this stuff make a difference to me. I'm now riding with just the one bottle - no more chugging constantly from a hydration pack feeling constantly parched. I load upfront with a 1500 on my way to the ride (usually consumed during a 1-2hr drive), then have a 500 in my bike bottle and I'm golden. Feel so much better during and after the ride. No more horrendous gas or burping either like other hydration supplements. Found via the Downtime Podcast, so mega props for supporting that chap!
Great training aid
I have been using PH1500 and 500 for a month or so and have found it to be a great hydration product before and during training. will definitely be my choice when competing this year.
Great Product
I recently switched to Precision Hydration from another product due to GI issues. I have found PH to be easy on the stomach and the light citrus flavor is easy to drink during extended bike rides. The electrolytes also provide enough energy for the shorter medium intensity rides. I use PH as prescribed after completing the recommended sweat test and am very glad I did it.
Perfect drink for long races
My husband and I discovered this drink on the Otillo world swimrun series. We were first surprised by the taste because it is not very sweet. It's a little bit like highly mineralized water so it is not sickening after hours of racing. It allows drinking more and eating too. I really like the tablets because your drink is a little bit sparkling.

We found Precision Hydration after years of drinking and searching for something other than the traditional sugar-loaded and ineffective, or the infant-targeted but somewhat effective hydration products. The PH Natural Mixes - 1500, 1000, and 500 - have been measurably effective for two teenagers - my son and my daughter - who play competitive elite-level club soccer. Consequently, we have all but eliminated those sugary hydration drinks and we a means to track and loosely correlate to performance results with and without PH preloading. With it, the eye test is undeniable as is the data from an activity tracker. Thank you Precision Hydration. If you are accepting requests, here are two: 1) Get the cost of the product to $1 per serving and 2) Conduct more research on youth PH performance.
PH 500 - tried, tested and past the test!
One of my ultra friend's recommended I use PH electrolytes. I don't particularly struggle with cramping but I have used other big branded electrolytes which have resulted in me having stomach problems. I've am now on my third box of PH500, I love the flavour and also how easy the sachets can used on the go during ultras. I cannot see me using another brand in the forseeable future!

Best hydration I have used. This 500 great for half marathon distances. I use PH1000 for longer distances. This product is excellent and works exactly as described. I've had no issues with cramping and my energy level has stayed high through tough workouts and rides.
Best product I have found!
I find this product works best for me of all of the different hydration products I've tried. PH500 is what I use before I hop on my bike, during the ride and even later in the evening after my ride if I'm feeling off. It's easy on my GI system, refreshing taste and no lingering aftertaste. Packets are convenient to use and pack on my longer rides.
Brilliant Product
A fellow cyclist recommended Precision Hydration to me, so I took the sweat test and placed an order. I only occasionally get cramp after long/hard rides and since using PH, have not had this issue. I also find it has helped with pre-race toilet visits as you are properly hydrated, so so many visits aren`t necessary! I like the taste of these (and the 1500 and the 500), they are not too sweet and don`t upset your stomach at all. All in all a great asset to your training/racing preparation. I have also recommended PH to others.

Using PH before, during and after all triathlon training and strength sessions has improved my recovery, hydration and performance. Will continue to use.
pH500 pH1000 pH1500
Love these products, I have struggled with hydration and nutrition on long runs. Since I have been using these products I seem to be able to eat more as not feeling nauseas due to lack of salt . Love starting knowing that I am hydrated and I can dehydrate easily after race.

Very good products. It is an easy way picking up salt. But I wish another taste for example raspberry or another kind of berry or fruit mix. Maybe it is possible one more kind of taste. Most I like the taste of PH 1.500. PH 500 and PH 1.000 are for me a little bit too sour. I like it sweeter.
It works for me
Started training for my 1st half marathon, these guys were recommend to me. Popped along to see them. Suggestion made PH1500 and PH500 it works a treat my body feels like it can cope with the increasing mileage even in this heat. Thanks guys.
PH500
Been using indoor trainer over winter months and find performance gains when using ph500 about 30 mins before training and if session is more than 1 hour then another bottle around the 45-50 min mark works better than sipping energy mix. Previously would not have thought about doing this but taking another ph 500 after a 90-120min session on a Sat helps big time for recovery when faced with a HIT session on Sun.. Good products and good advice from the PH team.
No more GI issues!
Knowing my sweat test numbers changed how I fueled. I was over doing it & having GI problems with bloating & digestion issues every Ironman & marathon I did. This product tastes good & I can get down several bottles in an endurance event. It’s not even bad warm & you don’t get sick of the flavor because it’s so light. Found this product very useful when doing long bike rides in the heat. Having a couple of tablets at hand let me be at ease with staying fully hydrated.
Great product that I’ll use again and again
I used Precision Hydration when completing 100k of the South Downs. It tastes great and helped maintain hydration levels during the run, with it being in powder form it was so easy to add to my camel pack on the go. I’d highly recommend this product!
Stopped me getting cramp exercising in Dubai Heat
Found this product after getting cramp a lot doing Cross Fit outside in Dubai - Obviously a very hot climate - a friend of mine also using for Triathlons out here and rates it very highly. solved the issue of cramps while generally helping me to feel better during and after my sessions. would recommend.
